How to Remove Mold From a Shower With Vinegar, Hydrogen Peroxide & Borax

Mold is a common problem in bathtubs and showers. The damp and humid environment of these areas creates the perfect breeding ground for mold and its spores. Vinegar, hydrogen peroxide and borax are three items that can successfully impale mold without harsh chemicals.

• Spray bottle
• White vinegar
• Sponge
• Scrub brush
• Towels
• Hydrogen peroxide
• Material

Vinegar

1. Fill up a spray bottle with white vinegar. Spray the shower liberally with the vinegar. Let the vinegar to sit for 10 minutes.

2. Scrub the shower with a sponge or scrub brush. Spray the shower with more vinegar if needed. Continue scrubbing until all mold is removed.

3. Rinse the shower clean with cool water and wipe dry with a towel.

Hydrogen Peroxide

1. Make full a clean spray bottle with 3 pct hydrogen peroxide.

2. Spray the mold liberally with the hydrogen peroxide. Permit the peroxide to sit on the mold for five minutes.

3. Wipe the mold off the shower with a damp fabric. Echo the procedure until you take removed all traces of the mold.

4. Rinse the shower clean and dry out with a towel.

Borax
