Will .22 Cleaning Kit Work For .223

Posted: 8/15/2005 1:34:51 PM EST I lost the bore brush from my .223 cleaning kit.  I can only find a .22 bore brush.  I am pretty sure it volition work fine, but I wanted to make sure with you guys information technology wouldnt hurt my new bushy.

I have seen threads from cotton swabs entangled in the beard of a diameter brush.

I have seen threads from cotton fiber swabs entangled in the bristles of a bore castor. i call up he was talking about the screw blazon of threads.  Alot of shop bought brushes will non piece of work with military cleaning  rods.

In any case, .22 LR brushes are fine for cleaning your AR, only don't use them on your .22 rim-burn burglarize, then go back to the AR! FWIW, Otis bore brushes are amidst the best I've used. Hotgun
